Do you feel Enzo Maccarinelli would be more effective at heavyweight?

Is his struggling to make weight, and being weight drained making him weak and hindering his performance in the ring, do you think this is why his recent performances have been sub par in comparison to before be fought David Haye or do you feel Maccerinelli has been over rated all this time?

Feel free to voice you opinion ladies and gentlemen and have a wonderful day.|||I think that his chin was exposed at the higher levels of boxing and that is his biggest problem. That would be a serious problem in the heavyweight division, especially if his power was less efffective against bigger guys. David Haye has made the transition fairly well so far, but he is arguably faster and more talented as well as having the power.

To compete at the very top levels of boxing you need to have power, strategy, speed and a solid chin. If you can't take punches from the top punchers you have no chance. If you can't switch up your game during a fight you have no chance. If you rely purely on power and knockouts you have no chance. Naseem Hamed was exposed at the very top level, as was Ricky Hatton. Both of them were fantastic boxers and they don't owe anything to anybody, and there's no shame in losing to the likes of Pacquiao, Barrera or Mayweather, most people do/did. Maccarinelli isn't on the level of a Hamed or Hatton, and perhaps his only saving grace would be that nobody in the heavyweight division is either.

Calzaghe, love him or hate him, made it as far as he did because he had speed, power, strategy AND the chin to match.

Just some general thoughts :)|||Enzo is finished at any weight. David Haye ruined him, ever since then I've watched every single Enzo fight thinking: "When is he going down?". It's no longer a question of "if, but "when" Enzo is going to get knocked out. If Enzo chooses to move up to HW he would be putting himself in even more danger than at cruiser, they punch harder at the top.

"Big Mac" has had a respectable career, he's a former Cruiser world champ and has nothing else to prove. I'd like to see him call it a day and wish him the best of luck in the future.|||I honestly believe that Enzo Maccarinelli was always a C class boxer that if he was not British and he was (that limited skilled that he is) from a 3rd world country or somewhere else other than UK,USA,Mexico, not even you or me or anyone would talk about him now!

Enzo had a boxing nation in his back as UK is all those years and still all he achieved was NOTHING!|||Not a chance, Maccarinelli wouldn't be able to compete as a heavyweight, less so than Glen McCrory could. Could Maccarinelli make light heavyweight is a more feasible question.|||I am Joshua mbngo Dmbungo TONGUE-CLICK Jnr.

He'd just get KO'd by much bigger guys.

TONGUE-CLICK!|||He can go heavy weight. maybe that will be his fighting weight.|||Rocky Balboa .
