What car do you think is better in overall Ferrari Enzo or McLaren F1?

Depends on what you mean by "better overall."

In terms of performance, there would be no debate, the Enzo will be faster than the older McLaren in just about any contest you can imagine. Both cars were cutting edge in terms of their performance technology for the times they were made, and the more than 10 years difference in their production is a huge difference! Compare F1 cars made by these companies to 10-15 year old counterparts and you'll find a massive difference in performance (even though in that case, the newer car has much more limitations in terms of what's allowed in the rules). So on this front, it's going to be the newer car (compare an M4-12C to an F40 or F50, and even though those Ferrari offerings were benchmarks in performance at the time they were produced, they would be completely embarrassed by the newer car).

But "better overall?" That's going to involve all kinds of subjective judgements like what looks better, which is more desirable, etc. And that will come down to the individual. Figuring in there too is collectibility, as both were produced in limited numbers, and in that case, the McLaren would enjoy the advantage now (while performance measures will pretty much always favor the new car, collectibility and long term value on such cars will pretty much always favor the older car).|||Well the McLaren F1 car was the fastest production car for quite some time. It has a better top speed but its quite difficult to drive, so it is probably better than the Enzo on straights. The Enzo is slower (at least in terms of top speed) but easier to steer in comparison, so the Enzo is probably better on a track. I would think its the McLaren F1 since it reached heights no one thought could be reached and as it proved it is possible to reach great speeds. I think the Enzo is a great car but doesn't really prove anything that hasn't already been proven in the past. Plus with the McLaren you actually get to drive your car as its so bare but with the Enzo you have an onboard computer driving you around (if you buy a car like these, you should be given the right to drive it which ever way you choose and not told or prevented from doing things).|||Haha.. that's a toughie. An Enzo is more recent, has tons of driver's aids and such. But the only think holding it back is you don't really OWN an Enzo. You simply call Ferrari when you want to take it out for a drive. They keep it at the factory.

McLaren F1 is a world record holder, at least it used to be. The fastest production car of its time. But it's raw. No driving aids. It's a more modern equivalent of a Ferrari F40.

Given just a track with left and right hand turns and a car. I'm pretty sure the Enzo would shoot ahead with a seasoned driver. I may be wrong, though.

But the F1 is more likely to be on the track in the first place. :P

By the way, this doesn't belong in Formula One. :P|||They're about equal. I'd have a McLaren F1.
