Is Enzo Macrenelli the top cruiserweight in the world today?

After watching him fight last night i think he may well be.|||Ive seen Enzo fight quite a few times now.....He is without doubt in the top 5....along with Jean-Marc Mormeck....O'Neil Bell...Guillermo Jones....and Cris...this Polish fella....cant remember his name.....Enzo improves with every fight....he should start boxing all the fellas i've mentioned....|||yes it is, you obviously have'nt heard of him, well he's always the undercard of Joe Calzaghe fights, he's the Champion at his Weight in the world,|||I hope so

Enzo Maccarinelli (born August 20, 1980 in Swansea, Wales) is a professional boxer in the cruiserweight division. His record is 24-1 (18 KOs). He is the current WBO world cruiserweight champion.

On June 28, 2003, Maccarinelli won the vacant WBU cruiserweight title when he defeated Bruce Scott by fourth-round TKO.[1] He has defended the title seven times since then.

On July 8, 2006, Maccarinelli fought against former WBC cruiserweight champion Marcelo Fabian Dom铆nguez for the WBO interim cruiserweight title. Maccarinelli won the title with a ninth-round TKO.[1] On September 22, 2006, Johnny Nelson relinquished the WBO world cruiserweight title, and so Maccarinelli was promoted to full champion status.[2]

On October 14, 2006 Maccarinelli made his first defence of the WBO title, stopping former foe Mark Hobson in the first round in a fight that was widely expected to last the distance (as indeed the first fight between the pair had). This was followed by another first round win over Bobby Gunn on April 7, 2007 at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff.|||For my money, he'll have to beat Mormeck and/or Bell to get that kind of consideration. If enough people demand it, it could happen. The boxing organizations and promoters have to be dealt with, which can be a problem, but theres not that much excitement in that division right now. Having him fight either Bell or Mormeck would create some interest in the cruiser division.|||I'd have to say Bernard Hopkins has that honor.
