What is better: a Ferrari Enzo, Lamborghini Murcielago, or a Maserati MC12?

enzo|||You didn't mention my 07 Impala. Why not? It costs a fraction of what those cars cost %26amp; it's cheaper on the insurance. If anyone has all that extra surplus cash and they feel the need to own such a car, then they need to get a life. I think the Lambo is better. I've always been a Lambo fan.|||the Enzo has the best performance of all,but personally i think it looks like a U.F.O..I think it's ugly!Don't ever compare maserati with the other two,it's a different thing.Maserati can b compared with Aston Martin and Jaguar.I think the best is the Murcielago.best value for money, best look, the hottest performance!|||Depends what you want. The Murcielago is the only one you can buy new from a dealer right now, and not nearly as exclusive as the Enzo or the MC12; the Reventon is the Lamborghini answer to those two cars, where as the Murcielago is more of a 599GTB competitor, despite the mid-engine/rear drive layout of the Lamborghini and the front-engine/rear drive layout in the Ferrari. So in that regard I would put the Murcielago third in this trio.

That leaves the Enzo (and to a lesser extent, the track only special, the FXX that is a heavily modified Enzo) and the MC12. If you want a car that only 49 other people do, the MC 12 is your pick, since 55 were made, with only 50 making it to customers hands (12 MC12 Corsas were also made, and are track only cars, similar to the FXX), vs. the 399 Enzos originally made, with an additional 30 FXX's being sold to select customers around the world.

If all out speed is your goal, the Enzo is faster than the MC12 and has a higher top speed. Both cars go 0-60 in under 4 seconds and go over 200 MPH, so neither is slow, but the Enzo is just a touch faster. However, Top Gear found the MC12 to be faster around the track than the Enzo (and many cars to be faster than both).

If you are going to drive your super-car much, the MC12 is the better pick. Most reviews (Top Gear, Motor Trend) say that the suspension is much more compliant and comfortable in everyday driving. Neither is "comfortable" in daily driving, so if that is your goal, perhaps one should look at Bentley Continental GT Speeds and Mercedes Benz CL AMGs or even lower rung models from Ferrari or Maserati

The MC12 has an open roof; the Enzo has flashy doors. The interior is described to be much more luxurious in the MC12, but the Enzo is no slouch.

If list price is your consideration, the MC12 is the far more expensive choice. While the Enzo may trade at over $1,000,000 USD, the MC12 was almost that much new, and since it is about 8 times more rare than the Enzo, it is difficult to price it currently.

Finally, as far as significance goes, both are tied at the very top rung. The Enzo was built to commemorate Ferrari's first world championship of the new millennium, while the MC12 marked the first time a Maserati had raced in 37 years (the MC12 actually being related to a racing car, where as the Enzo is just inspired by them)

My pick: The MC12 everyday. Not that the Enzo is a car you see everyday, but the limited availably of the MC12, combined with the more comfortable ride and nicer interior make it worth the higher price. However, if one is considering one of these used cars (very few, if any are available “Brand new” at this point), and is of means to buy one, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 should be looked at, since it is faster, more refined, capable, advanced, powerful and luxurious than either of these cars.
